Processing of Profile Images and Face Data
To enhance the Service, including verification and compatibility improvements, We may process profile images that You upload. These images may include face data. We use advanced AI technology (Operated by a third-party) to analyze non-identifiable attributes derived from the images. Identifiable facial images are anonymized or stripped of identifiable information prior to processing. Non-identifiable facial attributes may be used for:
Verifying authenticity and appropriateness of uploaded images;
Improving matchmaking by considering general facial attributes to refine compatibility suggestions;
Statistical analysis and enhancement of Our models using anonymized, non-identifiable data.
Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information
Under the GDPR and subject to different exemptions, You have the following rights:
To access Your personal data and receive a copy of Your personal data upon Your request;
To rectify, erase or restrict Your information upon Your request (right to be forgotten);
To object to the processing of Your information;
To request that MATCHIA AI LTD will provide You with Your personal information and, if possible, to transmit Your data directly to another data controller (right to data portability);
To withdraw Your consent to processing at any time;
No fees are required for exercising any of the above rights. However, subject to the GDPR, MATCHIA AI LTD may charge You a reasonable fee including administration fees if Your request is repetitive, excessive, or demands MATCHIA AI LTD to bear excessive and/or expensive efforts.

Database and Use of Information
All collected information as stated above is stored in MATCHIA AI LTD’s database. With accordance to Your consent, MATCHIA AI LTD warrants to use such information for the following purposes:

Modify and/or remove existing services and content;

This enables MATCHIA AI LTD to send You relevant and personalized content designed to improve Your use of the Service. Please note that some of the information You will be requested to provide is necessary for providing You the Services. Therefore, Your refusal to provide some information may result in You not receiving the Services since MATCHIA AI LTD will not be practically able to provide You the Services.
MATCHIA AI LTD may receive Your information from third parties which MATCHIA AI LTD cooperates with (e.g., business partners, professional advisors, service providers, etc.) and MATCHIA AI LTD may receive Your information from them.

There are several places in the Service where You may click on a link to access other websites that do not operate under this Privacy Policy and are not related to MATCHIA AI LTD. These links may independently solicit and collect information, including personal information, from You and, in some instances, provide MATCHIA AI LTD with information about Your activities on those links.

Your information will be handled and used by MATCHIA AI LTD’s trusted third parties, including the following recipients in order to provide services:
OpenAI: which operates the AI algorithm used for processing images (face data) and providing certain analysis related to image verification and attribute extraction;
Certain Third-Party Services: used for analyzing text-based data or providing related functionalities. All data sent to these services is anonymized. These services cannot relate the data to any specific individual. The link between anonymized data and Your identity exists only on MATCHIA AI LTD’s servers and is removed upon account deletion;
Providers, partners, and sub-contractors on behalf of MATCHIA AI LTD;
Analytics and search engine providers that may assist MATCHIA AI LTD in improving the optimization and performance of the Service.
Retaining Your Information
MATCHIA AI LTD will only retain Your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes it was collected for, including, but not limited to, complying with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. The retention period is determined based on the amount, nature, and sensitivity of Your personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of Your information, the purposes for which MATCHIA AI LTD processes Your information, and whether such purposes can be achieved through other means in accordance with any applicable law.
For face data specifically, identifiable images and related attributes are retained only as long as necessary to provide the matchmaking service. Once You delete Your account, such data is deleted within a reasonable timeframe. Non-identifiable, aggregated attributes derived from the images may be retained indefinitely for statistical analysis and model improvement. When Your account is deleted, the linkage that could associate any anonymized data to You is permanently removed, ensuring no future ability to relate that data to Your identity, even within MATCHIA AI LTD’s servers.
Use of Various Collection Technologies
Upon Your consent, We use various technologies to collect information from Your device and about Your activities while using the Service in order to improve and personalize Your online experience. This may include storing cookies on Your device. Some technologies are necessary for using the Service, and some are used to provide features of third parties.
Without permitting Us to gather information via these technologies, We may not be able to provide You with Our Services. In such a case, You will be requested to refrain from any use of the Service.

Therefore MATCHIA AI LTD does not warrant that its services will be totally immune to any breaches of security and/or unauthorized access, including access to the data stored in the Service, although MATCHIA AI LTD will contact You upon a breach of Your data security with accordance to any applicable law. MATCHIA AI LTD inspects, from time to time, the data security of the Service and performs modifications and upgrades accordingly in order to keep the Service’s security. Nonetheless, MATCHIA AI LTD will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to You due to exposure of Your information by an unauthorized access to MATCHIA AI LTD’s database and/or due to any negligence or act not controlled by MATCHIA AI LTD.
Minors
We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of eighteen (18) or knowingly allow minors to use the Service or any of Our Services. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor without the consent of his/her parent or guardian, we will immediately remove such collected information and block his/her access to the Service and/or any of Our Services.
Email Updates
MATCHIA AI LTD may offer to all its users to receive email messages and/or newsletters about updates, improvements and other user notifications regarding MATCHIA AI LTD’s activity, including via emails (the “Mailings”). It is clarified that at any stage You will have the ability to opt out of receiving the Mailings by contacting MATCHIA AI LTD and/or by clicking on a link available on the Mailings sent to You by MATCHIA AI LTD.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
MATCHIA AI LTD may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. MATCHIA AI LTD will notify You by sending an email to the email address You most recently provided MATCHIA AI LTD and/or by prominently posting notice of the changes and will state at the heading of the Privacy Policy the date of change.
